Dancing at the Cecil Sharp Centenary Celebrations. Hambridge.
What do we do?
We dance, to Melodeons and Fiddle.
Our prefered dances are clog routines from England,
Wales, Scotland and Ireland, with stepping or step dances from the Isle
of Man, Quebec and Cape Breton.
The side has been established for over 20 years and has been active at folk festivals throughout the UK and abroad, ever since. We dance out at other venues as well. You might find us with other dance sides outside a pub, or even on a village green, anywhere in the country.
Demonstrations and workshops can be arranged.
Our regular members particularly value the easy and sociable atmosphere that is present when we meet, at practice or at dance outs. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
